Summit Entertainment: Talk Of Fifth ‘Twilight’ Film Is Premature

*Source Access Hollywood
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
New “Eclipse” cast member BooBoo Stewart sent the Twi-hards into a frenzy on Friday when he told Access Hollywood there would be two more movies in the “Twilight Saga” after the third chapter, “Eclipse.”

However, a rep for Summit Entertainment – the studio behind the hit vampire film franchise – has now told Access that BooBoo (who will join the big screen saga as wolfpack member Seth Clearwater in the next installment) was premature in his statements.

“We appreciate our young actor’s enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate,” the Summit rep said in a statement to Access.

Although BooBoo has contract options for additional films after “Eclipse,” there are no guarantees yet that those films will be made.

And while a fourth film in the series is likely since there are four books in the popular Stephenie Meyer’s series, the studio could not confirm “Breaking Dawn” would make it from the page to the screen just yet.

“However, the fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephenie Meyer to bring ‘Breaking Dawn’ to the big screen,” the rep continued.

“New Moon,” the second film in the series, will hit theaters on November 20. Filming on the third chapter, “Eclipse,” began earlier this month in Vancouver.

“Eclipse” will hit theaters in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Rob, Kristen, and Taylor's fav New Moon scenes.

**SOURCE Twilight Examiner
Starpulse has a featurette about The Twilight Saga: New Moon and its stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner that exists under the guise of relationships, but really just accounts for a culmination of the three's favorite scenes from New Moon.

It seems that the three share a hankering for breaking up.

According to the article,

"My original favorite scene was a really small scene that I just thought was kind of cute," Lautner said. "It was the scene where I walk her up to Bella's door and say goodbye to her. I'm going off to fight in the woods and she's worried. She's scared for me. I thought that it was kind of cute, but I also like the break-up scene. It was also painful to shoot because it was 35 degrees and we had rain poured on us. It was rain tower rain, which is straight from the spring and it was freezing. It was bad."

By the time he wolfs out and prowls off to fight, Bella basically feels dumped.

"Yeah, that's my favorite scene in the movie," said Kristen Stewart. "We call it a break-up scene because he basically tells her that they can't be friends anymore and he's transforming. If [Taylor] ever, ever treated me like that, it would kill me."

Edward Cullen gets a breakup scene of his own too. "I think my break-up scene was my favorite scene," said Robert Pattinson. "Hopefully, it'll come off as having quite a few more levels than the relationship in Twilight. It was interesting. It was a five page long dialogue scene. That didn't happen at all, in the first one, and it's quite an interesting little moment. It completely bypasses all the supernatural elements of the story as well."

No disrespect to the actors or their understandable preferences for these sequences, but it seems that Twilight fans might disagree.

Girlfriend or no girlfriend? I'm sick of wondering!

It's so hard to figuire out whether or not all the interviews are real or fake, New or Old. Ahh... SO annoying!! SO, This could be true, could be fake. I don't know what to tell ya! I wish we all knew the truth!

*Source Gossip Cop/
Here is what Gossip Cop Wrote-
The Daily Mirror, out of England, claims in a headline: “Twighlight exclusive – Robert Pattinson: I haven’t got a girlfriend.” Exclusive nonsense.

Let’s look at some of the facts, shall we?

First, these clowns can’t even spell “Twilight” correctly in the headline.

Next, after the “exclusive” begins, it notes that Pattinson and Kristen Stewart “were caught snuggling up together at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver where they’re filming the hotly-awaited movie sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” Doh! They’re filming “Eclipse.”

So maybe this “exclusive” is just an old exclusive. But in the next paragraph it reads, “In an exclusive interview with the vampire just days before the pictures [of him and Stewart] were taken, heart-throb Robert insists he’s still single and adds: “I don’t have a girlfriend.”

A few things come to mind: (1) the story sounds made up (2) why would the Mirror hold onto an “exclusive” interview with Pattinson for about a week before publishing it (3) the star was in Los Angeles at around the time of the alleged interview, and Gossip Cop knows for a fact that he was not sitting down to talk about his personal life (4) the story sounds made up. Oh, did we say that already? And (5) no one from the Mirror could answer Gossip Cop’s question about when or where the interview was conducted, but said they would get back to us (we’re still waiting).

Even though we’ve established that this “exclusive” seems fabricated, we’ll still share with you a couple of “quotes” – for laughs – that the Mirror claims the incredibly popular and private star said.

Among the nuggets are “You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens,” and “You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen.”

It’s pieces like this that make Gossip Cop want to “Moon” the Mirror.
Here is what Robert Pattinson Life Posted- You be the judge ppl!

If you’re over 18, then the name Robert Pattinson may not mean much to you. But mention it to your teenage daughter and you’ll be deafened by her squeals of excitement.

British hunk Robert, 23, is the handsome young star of Twilight, the teen fantasy saga giving Harry Potter a run for its money.

Based on the hugely popular fantasy novels by Stephanie Meyer, the first Twilight movie last year enjoyed one of the biggest opening weekends in box office history.

Robert stars as Edward Cullen, a 108-year-old “vegetarian” vampire who falls in love with beautiful teenager Bella Swan, played by 19-year-old Kristen Stewart.

And this weekend, despite being at pains to deny a romantic relationship in the past, Robert and Kristen were caught snuggling up together at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver where they’re filming the hotly-awaited movie sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

But was it really a case of afterlife imitating art? Apparently not. In an exclusive interview with the vampire just days before the pictures were taken, heart-throb Robert insists he’s still single and adds: “I don’t have a girlfriend. I don’t know why.

“You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens.

“You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen.

“It’s especially different in LA. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that’s a bad thing. But I don’t really have a type.

“Whenever I get asked who my favourite celebrity crush is, I have no idea.” This is good news indeed for the Twi-hards – the name given to the legion of besotted female fans who follow Robert’s every move.

When the first film was released in America last autumn, it caused riots, described as Beatlemania with fangs, wherever he went. Police had to be called in LA and San Francisco to calm the mayhem. And at the British premiere in December 2008, hundreds of screaming teenage girls turned out at 4am to get a place at the front of the red-carpet crowd.

The hysteria shows no sign of abating. Earlier this summer, Robert needed a police escort in New York when he was mobbed leaving his trailer to shoot a scene for the new film. His effect on women is just one reason the young actor can command £10million per movie and Screen International magazine have labelled him as the British star of tomorrow. Robert, who has also been dubbed the next Jude Law, admits he’s a little nervous of all the attention, from fans of all ages.

He says: “Most of the girls are all pretty young so it’s just kind of funny. But then you get the Twilight Mums who love you like mums! And you can take that too far. I mean, it could be ‘Edward breaks up Twilight family.’”

He’s happy to sign autographs but sometimes has to put his foot down, especially when fans ask him to bite their necks. He laughs: “I have to tell them: ‘Look, I can’t I’m afraid, because it will hurt.’

“I’ve been uncomfortable in crowds my whole life. I’ve always felt that everyone is looking at me.

“I could be in a supermarket and have a full-on panic attack when there’s no one else there.

“And this was even like five years ago, when nobody knew who I was.”

With his smouldering eyes and chiselled looks, it’s not hard to see why the former child model has become Hollywood’s latest heart-throb. He was brought up in Barnes, South-West London, by “arty” parents Claire, a model agency booker, and Richard, a second-hand car dealer.

Robert attended the local Tower House school in East Sheen before moving to Harrodian school as a teenager. It was there that he began to show real promise as an actor. He became a member of Barnes Theatre Club, thanks to some persuasion from his parents.

He says: “I thought drama was stupid but I think my dad had some kind of weird foresight.

“He’d seen this bunch of pretty girls and talked to them and they said they went to this drama club.

“That’s when he said to me: ‘You should go’ and I said: ‘I can meet those girls anyway,’ but he insisted. He was going to pay for me to go and he thought it would be good for me. I think both my parents had a calling towards entertainment but they both ended up doing something else.”

Their persistence has paid off. At just 18, Robert won the role of Cedric Diggory, dashing head boy of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, killed in a battle with He Who Shall Not Be Named. “I was going to do the conventional thing and go to university to study International Relations,” says Robert.

“I wanted to be a politician but Harry Potter made that decision for me.” Despite plaudits from Harry Potter director Mike Newell that Robert was “born to play the role” of Cedric, not everyone was a fan.

When he landed the part of vampire Edward, irate fans of the Twilight books set up an online petition which collected 75,000 signatures. They complained that, among other things, he was not American and – astonishingly – that he was too ugly.

Robert shrugs: “I always looked like a girl up until a few years ago and because I never did any sports or anything I was always kind of gangly. I was never really a good model.

“I was terrible at it. I wasn’t skinny enough to be a little waif and I didn’t want to work out to be a beefy guy so I was always stuck between two things and so I never got any jobs.”

A talented musician, Robert plays the guitar and the piano. He even wrote two songs which appear on the Twilight soundtrack.

“I always say that if acting is my first love, music would’ve been my Plan B for becoming famous,” he says. “That may sound a bit pretentious, but it’s true. Music occupies a very important place in my life. I couldn’t live without music.”

Thankfully, for fans, his music, modelling or political careers didn’t take off. But has the fame and the money changed him at all?

“My life is pretty much identical to before,” he says. “I don’t really do that much. All I do is read books and watch movies, I’m pretty boring.”

There are millions of teenage girls who disagree.

Robert Pattinson Met By Aliens?? WTF!

California - Websites, and bloggers find ways to get the latest Robert Pattinson gossips, and even the "stupidest" report is not a big waste of time. When I read the report that Robert Pattinson was greeted by "aliens", I laughed out loud.

According to multiple news sources, Robert Pattinson was greeted by fans dressed in extra terrestrial outfits. The report was shared by an UNNAMED Robert Pattinson friend. He revealed: "They blocked him when he tried to exit. Robert panicked, but then the alien monsters whipped off their scary headgear and revealed they were just three giggly Earth gal fans"

The reports added that the incident happened in a bathroom facility at the recent Comic Con event in San Diego, California.

End of the "story".

Robert, Kristen and Taylor Screen New Moon and Party the Weekend Away

*Source People Mag

On the eve of shooting Eclipse, new and familiar faces of the Twilight Saga got a sneak peek at New Moon – while partying the weekend away in Vancouver.

At gourmet Japanese restaurant Miku on Friday, Kellan Lutz couldn't stop popping sushi into his mouth, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were inseparable and Taylor Lautner had no problem being their third wheel.

"Rob and Kristen were close all evening," a source told PEOPLE of the cozy costars. "She was at Rob's side throughout the whole party. When Rob went out, Kristen went out."

Other inseparable costars were Cullen coven cuties Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Elizabeth Reaser, who "wore smiles all night." Eclipse director David Slade, Jackson Rathbone and newcomers Xavier Samuels and Bryce Dallas Howard (who's replacing Rachelle Lefevre as vengeful vamp Victoria) were also in attendance.

The party ended around midnight, with Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner sharing a cab to their hotel together. "They were a wonderful group of people, full of fun," the source added.

On Saturday, the crew got their first look at New Moon at a screening with director Chris Weitz. "The cast really loved the film and they feel the fans will love it as well," a source said of the Twilight follow-up.

The stars then headed to Water Street Cafe in Gas Town before hitting the Kings of Leon Concert. The Chambar Restaurant – where sources say the cast stayed until 4 a.m. – was the after-concert hot spot.

The next day, Reed and Reaser were spotted at Tropika Maylasian restaurant on Robson Street. Reed continued the weekend of bonding with Greene, Lutz, Samuels and a few other friends, checking out Kings of Leon again and catching eyes of fellow concertgoers as they danced near the stage.

Monday morning brought an early start as they began shooting the third film, Eclipse.

Robert Pattinson Keeping his ego in check.

*Source ShowBizSpy
Robert Pattinson refuses to watch himself onscreen — because he’s desperate not to get a big ego or become depressed.

The Twilight star — currently one of Hollywood’s hottest young actors — says he hasn’t watched any of his movies since he played Cedric Diggory 2005’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

“I still can’t watch myself either. I have always been like that. Watching myself at the Twilight premiere was a mistake,” he said.

“I had never watched anything of myself since Harry Potter. Nothing comes other than this pure discomfort.

“I can’t watch myself. I am just feeling everybody else’s reaction. I can’t handle that at all.

“It seems pointless watching it. You get a big ego or you become depressed. So I avoid it altogether.”

Pattinson, 23, also blamed social-networking website Twitter for ruining his life.

“Because of internet stuff and Twitter, there will be a crowd if you are in a place for more than half an hour,” he dished.

“I’ve learned never to stay in the same place for more than 20 minutes.”

Miley Cyrus once said she was "not a huge Rob Pattinson fan."

But after meeting the Twilight hunk at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend, she's changed her mind.

See 21 red carpet photos from the Teen Choice Awards.

"Gave a hug to Rob Pattinson today," the Disney star, 16, wrote on Twitter Sunday (the show aired Monday). "OK girls, I get it now. So cute. Sorry 'Robby' 'bout all my bashing in my past."

Jennie Garth DID NOT out Robsten

4:43 pm, August 13th, 2009

*Source Gossip Cop
Gossip Cop has some major bad dish to bust — the day’s big story that Jennie Garth spilled the beans about Robert Pattinson dating either Kristen Stewart or Nikki Reed, his “Twilight” co-stars. Either way — it’s still way wrong.

The other blogs, including Perez Hilton, who don’t fact-check, have been buzzing all day about a quote Garth supposedly gave concerning Pattinson to the New York Daily News: “I can’t say [if it’s Stewart or Reed], because that would be breaking my promise to [her husband, “Twilight” star Peter Facinelli], but he is dating one of them!”

So what’s the problem? Garth never actually said that. Gossip Cop knows because we obtained a transcript. The only thing she said was, “That will be breaking my promise to my husband, but I do know.”

Garth’s rep also confirmed that she didn’t leak the highly guarded details about Pattinson’s love life.

Fake Pics Are Circulating...

Today a fake picture of Rob and Kristen in V.C. holding hands has been going around. This picture is not real! It is an old picture of Kristen and Michael Angrano. Don't believe everything you see kids!!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
The “Twilight” dating rumors are reaching a fever pitch! Jennie Garth — whose husband, Peter Facinelli, stars as Cullen family patriarch Carlisle in the vampire series – claims Robert Pattinson is dating one of his co-stars.

“I can’t say [who it is] because that would be breaking my promise to [my husband Peter], but he is dating one of them!” Jennie told The New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher recently at the TJ Maxx’s Save the Children charity event in NYC.

While Jennie didn’t specify which co-star Robert is involved with, rumors have heated up in recent weeks that he is seeing his on-screen love interest, Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan.

Earlier this month, however, Kristen brushed off rumors she was linked to Hollywood’s hottest vampire after fan speculation exploded following their appearance together at Comic-Con.

Kirsten’s co-star Taylor Lautner came to Kristen’s defense at the San Diego based fan event telling Access at the time, “Yeah, those things happen, if you’re seen together.”

The “Twilight” cast has reassembled in Vancouver as shooting of “Eclipse,” the third film in the series, has begun.

Twilight Cast Finally Goes Too Far??

*Source Ted C. At The Awful Truth E! Online

Twilight Cast finally goes too far?
Summit is going to be making some big changes over at that OCD-like studio. No, Robsten isn't going to come flying out of the dating closet. According to Nikki Finke (an industry know-it-all), its public relations head honcho, Vivian Mayer, is being replaced. We've confirmed with our own sources the hardly vivacious Vivian is vamoosing.

Darlings, this is a loaded decision on Summit's part. The bigwigs over there are P-I-S-S-E-D off. Why? Because this phasing out is sending a message that they are not happy with the lack of control over this deliciously raunchy Twilight cast.

Think we're being overly dramatic? Look at the obvious:

This comes after one of the more overexposed weekends in Twilight history. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart suddenly got caught all over the damn place with lunch dates, concert dates and multiple sleepover dates.

Now, Robsten suddenly getting caught is either their doing (which we hope), because the paparazzi have stepped their game up (doubtful), or failure on Summit's part to get these pictures squashed (as they've been very much done in the past).

"That weekend made a lot of people nervous," Deep Twi told us about Robsten's L.A. lovefest. And to top it off, everyone came into the office Monday with a nudie pic scandal by our fave vampire Miss Ashley Greene.

This weekend was just icing on the cake. What started it all? "Rob's Messy Love Life" splashed across People Magazine.

Like we told you before, Rob's team was furious about that headline. It was something that easily could have been kaput in our business btw, with a little "exclusive set visit" or some other fab offer in return. And most magazines always take that bait.

So we're thrilled to see what this new change in Summit management brings us.

More Robsten, perhaps? Only time will tell.

A Closer Look at Rob's New Role

Scriptshadow review for Bel Ami

Scroll this post if you don't want to be spoiled

Genre: Period Romance
Premise: Set (I think) in early 20th Century Paris, a penniless journalist worms his way into the city's upper crust, seducing all the ladies in his path.
About: Robert Pattinson is in it. What more do you need to know?
Writer: Rachel Bennette (based off the short story by Guy de Maupassant)

Oh R_Patz. Where art thou R_Patz? What the *hell* are you doing R_Patz?? Did you even read the script you signed up for? No you didn't, did you. You so did not read it. But you were interested in making this movie R_Patz weren't you? Yes you were. You were interested in making this movie because the coverage said you'd be spending the majority of the 120 minutes banging three of the hottest actresses in Hollywood. Yes you were R_Patz. Don't you lie to me Mr. Sharp Fangs. We both know the truth. Because here you were Mr. Twilight Vampire Man thinking you would get the pick of the litter. Three sultry celebrities you could take back to your coffin every night after filming. Real sex after fake sex. Menage et quatro. Be honest with me R_Patz. That's why you signed up for this movie, isn't it?

Well because you didn't read the script, let me break it down for you. Your character, Georges, is a bit of a low life. He's slumming it up in Paris circa sometime-a-long-time ago (the author chose not to disclose the actual year because she hates me). Apparently Georges used to be a soldier, but the only thing he fights now are the gargantuan cockroaches that try to share a blanket with him in his tiny attic apartment.

Low and behold though, wouldn't it be Georges Porgies luck that he runs into an old friend while trying to spend his last two shillings on a low-class whore. The friend, Charles, has since become very rich, running his own newspaper, The Parisian. Charles offers George a job at the paper, despite the fact that Georges has never written anything in his entire life.

The job and Charles' friendship allow him a tiny opening into Paris' upper crust, which he exploits to the nth degree. You see Charles' and his two best buddies just happen to be married to the three most beautiful women in France. There's Madeline, Charles' impeccably smart and beautiful wife. There's Clotilde, the slutty one. And then there's Luc Rousset, the innocent Redhead. I think we all know where this is going, right?

Yes, Georges begins to seduce the women one-by-one with varying degrees of success. He starts off with Madeline, who he has the strongest connection to, but she thwarts his advances and claims, "I will never be your lover." So he moves on to the easiest target, Clotilde, who is so slutified that she actually buys the two a bang bungalow, a special place exclusively for their daily bang. But this is not enough for Georges. He craves excess. And when Charles succumbs to some distant cousin of the Bubonic Plauge (an early version of swine flu maybe?) Georges swoops in and marries his true love, Madeline.

Oh but if it were that easy. After marrying Madeline, he learns that she just isn't that interested in him. In fact, she pulls out the virtual chastity belt and basically tells him "You do your thing, I'll do mine." So what does Georges do in return? What do you think he does! He makes a move on Luc Rousset (who's a woman - I know, it's confusing) and starts a dangerous fling in the bang bungalow that Clotilde bought specifically for them. If there was a Renaissance version of Cheaters, this shit would be ripe for the season finale.

Because Georges is a moron, he doesn't realize that you never cheat on anyone with a girl with red hair! Because when a red hair shows up in your bed, you can't explain it away. "Uhh, maybe your hair is turning red?" Doesn't work. I've tried it. So Clotilde leaves him. He leaves Luc Rousset. And Madeline won't even return any of his texts. Is this Bel Ami or The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

Anyway, Georges ends up just as poor and helpless as where he started in the movie, before making a last-second power play and marrying Luc Rousset's daughter of all people (who up til this point hadn't even spoken a line). It was such a bizarre turn of events I sent my life size poster of Robert Pattinson to the closet for a time out. Luc Rousset plays the least important role of the three ladies, so what they were trying to say by having Georges marry her daughter is a complete mystery to me.

There were some good moments tucked into Bel Ami. The relationship between R_Patz and Madeline was interesting, as she tended to treat him like he treated everyone else. But outside of that, this felt like a salacious excuse for a bunch of smelly French sex.

[ ] What the hell did I just read?
[x] barely kept my interest
[ ] worth the read
[ ] impressive
[ ] genius

What I learned: All joking aside, if you have an unmarketable screenplay, try to target actors who like taking chances. Very few A-list actors would take on a role like this and therefore Bel Ami was destined to wither in screenplay obscurity. But Pattinson seems interested in trying new things (he's also playing a Cherokee Indian in Unbound Captives) so a script like Bel Ami is something he might actually read. The owners of the material took a chance and it paid off. As writers, you're always looking to add to the "package" of your screenplay with actors and directors. Even if you have a slow non-mainstream piece, if you've done your homework and know a few actors who might be interested in your offbeat independent film (Dicaprio with The Low Dweller, Pattinson with Unbound Captives, Nicolas Cage with Leaving Las Vegas), you might find your script going from unwanted to the hottest screenplay in town. Now getting to those actors is another thing altogether. But it's another avenue to pursue.

Eclipse Casting News-Maria

"Eclipse" has found its Maria, and she's full of grace.

Producers on Summit's third "Twilight" pic have cast Catalina Sandino Moreno, best-known for playing the title character in the indie drama "Maria Full of Grace," to play the vampire character of Maria.

The CAA-repped actress will take on the role of a woman who tries to create a newborn army of vampires, recruiting the Confederate soldier Jasper to her cause. In Stephenie Meyer's book, the character is described as a petite brunette with a soft voice.

The Colombian-born Sandino Moreno most notably starred in "Grace," in which she played a pregnant teacher who becomes a drug mule, as well as Steven Soderbergh's epic "Che" and the upcoming indie drama "Frail," in which she plays the title character, who's described as a naive Midwestern girl.
